Battle Mountain General Hospital is proud to present our Annual Health Fair, a community event dedicated to promoting wellness and providing valuable health resources to our local residents. This year's fair will feature a wide range of activities and services including free health screenings, educational workshops on various health topics, fitness demonstrations, healthy cooking demonstrations, and information booths from local healthcare providers and organizations.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive complimentary screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose levels, and BMI. Our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to provide personalized guidance and answer any questions about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In addition, participants can take part in interactive workshops covering topics such as stress management, nutrition, mental health awareness, and preventive care.
The Health Fair will also showcase various fitness activities such as strength training demonstrations led by certified instructors. Visitors can learn new exercises or techniques to incorporate into their daily routines for improved physical well-being.
Furthermore, attendees can explore informational booths hosted by local healthcare providers offering insights into specialized medical services available in the community. Representatives from organizations focused on mental health support, nutrition counseling, senior care services, and more will be available to share valuable resources with attendees.
