Event Description
When Suzanne Davis became president of Greenville University in Illinois during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she believed her role was to oversee the institution's closure. Instead, drawing on a survivor's mentality and a clear vision for the future, she led the institution in a bold turnaround. Davis applied the six mindsets outlined in the book CEO Excellence, using them to guide Greenville University through a time when many universities are shutting their doors. Now, she is writing a “survival manual" to equip other leaders navigating crises. Davis's personal story of battling a rare genetic disease that took the lives of her brothers shapes the survival instinct for how she leads today.
