On Saturday, Oct. 25, from Noon - 2 p.m., local Las Vegas author Gina Usufzy will be holding a reading and book signing of her The Adventures of Maverick The Hockey Player series at the Dam Roast House & Browder Bookstore located at 554 Nevada Way in Boulder City. Book proceeds from sales directly benefit Las Vegas and Boulder City youth hockey players in need through the Jake Kielb's Hockey Foundation (www.hockeyforkids.org). The foundations comprehensive programs provide free hockey gear, specialized clinics, and scholarships, because we believe every child deserves an equal opportunity to experience the game of hockey.
