Chapters Bookshop invite the public to a "bookish" afternoon event on Sunday, November 2. The Readers & Authors Gathering is an opportunity for area authors to share their work with potential readers of all ages. The free event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Garage, a community space at 111 W. Lafayette St., Lagrange. Light refreshments will be served. Chapters Bookshop at 111 W. Spring Street also will be open 4-6 p.m. following the event for those who would like to shop.
