Put on your sneakers and join the Wickenburg Breast Cancer Network and the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce Feb. 13 for a fun 1-mile Breast of Gold breast cancer awareness walk.
The walk begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church parking lot, 930 N. Tegner, and ends on Frontier Street in time for the opening ceremony of Gold Rush Days at 10:00 a.m.
The $20 registration fee includes a t-shirt. Outlandish bras (worn outside of normal clothing!) are encouraged to add to the fun.
After the opening ceremony enjoy Gold Rush Days’ “Heart of Gold” festivities or catch the shuttle back to the church.
The walk is sponsored by BNSF Railway. Additional sponsorships are encouraged.
