Event Description
Lansing, KS — The Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Legislative Update Forum on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the Lansing Community Center, located at 800 1st Terrace, Lansing, KS 66043.
This public forum will feature Leavenworth County’s state representatives and state senator, who will provide a comprehensive update on the first half of the 2026 Kansas legislative session. Attendees will hear directly from their elected officials about:
Their current legislative priorities and committee work
Key developments and decisions made during the first half of the session
Issues expected to shape the second half of the legislative session
The event offers residents, business owners, and community leaders an opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and engage with the policymakers representing Leavenworth County in Topeka.
