On Saturday, February 21st, from 7 to 9 p.m. you’ll hear Sean Hoffman and Ellen Coplin in a short concert and then have fun participating in a live taping of the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour. You’ll hear a mix of guitar, fiddle, cello, and ukulele mixed with two sweet voices performing a variety of traditional tunes, and some lovely songs of their own, like their original country lullaby, “Kissin’ in the Rain.”
Hailing from Fort Wayne, both Sean and Ellen have been regular additions to the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour house band. Sean and Ellen are well known for their performances as a duo with Bobcat Opossum and with the dynamic bluegrass band, The Debutants. Both musicians are well known for their commitment to music education, including organizing the Folky Fish Jam Camp and working with the Fairfield Falcon Fiddle Club. Their appearance on the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour follows their successful appearance at Acorn Theater in Three Oaks, Michigan.
In addition to February’s performance at the Moon, both Sean and Ellen will fill out their places in the band as part of the Moon Rockers for Wild Rose Moon’s upcoming performance at South Bend’s Civic Theater on March 7th entitled Springing Into Green, with Kennedy’s Kitchen.
