Celebrate 10 Years of Community Impact!

Day of Caring 2025 –10th Anniversary Celebration

Are you ready to be part of something truly special? April 4, 2026 marks the 10th year of River Cities United Way’s Day of Caring—a milestone event that has brought our community together for nearly a decade of service, pride, and positive change. Even better, this year’s event takes place the day before Easter, making it the perfect way to kick off a weekend of giving, connection, and community spirit.

For ten years, River Cities United Way—along with the City of Kingman, The Standard, the Kingman Downtown Merchants, and the Kingman Chamber of Commerce—has hosted community improvement projects that bring together more than 100 volunteers and as many as 300 participants on a single day. Together, we’ve shown what it means to care for and invest in the place we call home.

Teams and individuals return year after year, and we’d love for you to join us for this milestone celebration. With 14 cleaning zones ranging from small to large, every volunteer can find the perfect spot to make a visible difference.

Check-in between 7:30–8:00 a.m.

We’ll have water and snacks available to keep everyone hydrated and energized. At check-in, volunteers will receive all necessary supplies: gloves, safety vests, trash grabbers, bags, and zone maps.

During the Event

Media crews will visit cleanup zones to capture volunteers in action during this special 10-year celebration.

Teams are encouraged to take photos and videos and send them to Ashley@rcuw.org
so we can showcase the collective impact of the day.

Filled trash bags should be placed near the street or just behind the sidewalk when possible.

Wrap-Up 11:00 a.m.

Please return all borrowed materials to the check-in area by 11:00 a.m. The donated equipment allows us to keep Day of Caring going strong year after year—especially in this exciting 10th anniversary year.
