A new exhibition, Wunderkammer: Curiosities from the Collection, will be opening in the museum’s Main Floor Gallery on February 20th!
The Wunderkammer, or Cabinet of Curiosities, was the direct ancestor of the modern museum. It showed treasures, art, and trinkets from around the world, and inspired entire fields of science. While much has changed, museums remain focused on curiosities. In this staff choice show, see some of the more unusual objects in our collection. What will you discover?
