My name is Shelby Story, and I am the creator of the Butterfly Release. This event will be used for my senior project but I am also going to use this event to better help our farming community. For this event, I am going to release butterflies that I would have already raised and put them back into the wild. The reason I am going to have this event is to help farmers with pollinating their crops. This event will hopefully have fun games and information on butterflies that will be useful to little children and adults. I am also going to have food and drinks for this event. My event will only be a few hours in hopes to keep the butterflies safe and have enough time to get people to show up. I will primarily be releasing Pink Lady's but I am also hoping for some Monarchs to be released as well. I am hoping for some information booths and possibly a soda truck to come.
