Theatro Nagual launches its 20th season with Wolf at the Door by Marisela Treviño Orta, directed by Ángel Rodríguez, running May 14 through May 24.

Step into a world of folklore, mystery, and imagination with this bold and visually engaging production. Blending theatrical storytelling with movement, music, and striking stagecraft, Wolf at the Door invites audiences on a journey that is both haunting and heartfelt.

Isadora lives under strict control in a remote hacienda, where every choice comes at a cost. When a mysterious young woman arrives, everything begins to shift. As tension builds and wolves circle closer, Isadora must decide how far she’s willing to go to reclaim her freedom.

Part of a haunting cycle of fairy tales by Marisela Treviño Orta, Wolf at the Door draws from Latin American folklore to tell a story of survival, resistance, and transformation—offering a theatrical experience that is immersive, thought-provoking, and unlike anything else.
