Arizona Automotive Institute (AAI) will host Weld Wars, a live welding competition on Wednesday, April 22, at its campus located at 6829 N. 46th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85301.
Friends, family, community members, and local high schoolers are invited to tour the campus, meet instructors, connect with local employers actively hiring skilled trades professionals, watch live welding demonstrations and competitions, cheer on participants, and learn more about AAI’s skilled trades programs.
Employers including Catapult Solutions Group, Prime Controls, BTE Body Company, and Intel will be on-site for an employer partner panel and Q&A session.
Leandro Baldenegro Councilmember, Ocotillo District of the Glendale City Council will also attend.
The event highlights the growing search for skilled trades professionals and gives high school students an opportunity to learn about educational opportunities after graduation.
