Event Description
- Pharmacy Services Update: The scope of Pharmacists' work is expanding every year and a lot of people (including some pharmacists!) are unaware of what pharmacists can do and how to best utilize our scope of practice. Services range from those more familiar like medication reviews, maximizing coverage/minimizing costs, and blister packing services, to more clinical applications like minor ailments prescribing, laboratory requisition ordering, and prescription renewals. We can provide a brief review of when and how to appropriately utilize these services in conjunction with residents' other healthcare providers.
