Don't Sleep on This — Saturday Is Almost Here!
You have 3 days to make one of the best decisions of your weekend — and trust us, this one is worth it.
The 17th Annual "Thin Man" Watts Jazz Fest is going down Saturday, April 25, 2026 from Noon to 6:00 PM at the Second Stage Theater, 600 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand, FL — and the vibe is going to be undeniable.
This isn't just a concert. It's a full cultural experience — an afternoon soaked in jazz, soul, afro latin jazz, that honors the legendary Florida saxophonist Dr. Noble "Thin Man" Watts and celebrates the rich African American artistic heritage right here in our own backyard. Presented by the African American Museum of the Arts, every ticket purchased directly supports their mission to preserve and share African American art and history in our community.

-
3:00 PM — Ella and the Bossa Beat — featuring Grammy-nominated production and smooth Brazilian bossa nova flavors

In between sets, spoken word poetry by Exodus United — a Central Florida nonprofit uplifting at-risk youth through arts and education — will fill the space with purpose and passion.
