Join Special Olympics Oregon any time from Friday, July 10th through Sunday, July 12th at Oregon State University in Corvallis for Summer State Games 2026! Special Olympics Oregon is a non-profit that provides training, competition, and community to athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities around the state. Summer State Games is the culmination of our summer season. Athletes around Oregon have been training since April to compete in bocce, golf, softball, and athletics.
Join us for the day either as a volunteer or a spectator!
Special Olympics Oregon is recruiting volunteers to support this massive event. Volunteers will serve as competition support for bocce, softball, golf, or athletics. There are also set up, break down, and other event support roles available.
There is no experience necessary to volunteer with Special Olympics Oregon, all volunteers will be trained on site during their shift by our competition management team. There are full and half day shifts available. Volunteers who register for a full day shift will receive a lunch, and all volunteers will receive a Special Olympics Oregon t-shirt!
If you're interested in volunteering, you can register HERE or email kmarion@soor.org for more information.
