Wildland Firefighter School:  Train to become a wildland firefighter to be eligible for hiring at the start of the 2027 fire season – March through October. Taught by certified firefighters using National Wildfire Coordination Group curriculum. Course completion makes students eligible for potential jobs with local, state, federal and private firefighting contractors. All materials provided. Registration cost: $20/person. Students must be 18 by their 2027 hiring date.

Classes are taught live and in person at both campuses. If enrollment is too low at either campus, the class will be held only at the campus with the higher number
