This presentation discusses primary questions about healthcare decision-making and the professional's role in addressing decision-making concerns. Participants will learn to identify decision making flags in a healthcare setting, explore assessment tools to lead a person to help when there are decision-making concerns and examine the legal documents needed to preserve one's preferences and to engage a chosen decision-maker.
