The annual Mother-Son Stampede is on again! This year’s event will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Once again, the Mother-Son Stampede will be held at the Truman University Farm and Bruce Normile Center Grounds with parking available at the Truman University Farm at Boundary Street and LaHarpe Street.

The Heartland Task Force invites boys age 5 years and up to attend the Stampede with their mothers or other significant adult female role model. Cost, at the door, is six dollars per mother-son twosome and two dollars for each additional boy. This year’s Mother-Son Stampede will feature; a firing range, obstacle course, crafts, hay rides, s’mores & drinks, soccer, activity stations and a bounce house!
