Description:
Reformation Sunday, October 28, Glenn Henricksen will present a Reformation Sunday Pipe Organ Concert and Hymn Sing at Trinity Lutheran Church, 721 18th Ave. North, Estherville, IA. The concert will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will feature great organ music of the church which we have because of the Reformation. One of the things we as Christians celebrate as a result of the Reformation is Martin Luther’s emphasis on participatory music in the church. In addition to Glenn playing inspiring organ music on Trinity’s pipe organ, a hymn sing will involve those attending to lift their voices in song. Following the concert, everyone is invited to the fellowship hall to sample homemade German pastries from Luther’s heritage, including black forest cherry cake and apple strudel. The public is invited to attend the free event, so bring friends and neighbors with you!  Thanks to the Berghefer Mission and Ministry Endowment for making this special event possible.
