Join us as we celebrate 18 years of being the “Teller County Regional Animal Shelter” and look ahead to our future!
Did you know that TCRAS, a limited-intake facility (previously known as “no kill”), helps almost 1000 lost, homeless, abused and neglected cats and dogs find homes every year? We need your help to make even more animals Wags and Wishes come true! Come to the Antlers Hotel and learn more about the “small shelter with a big heart” at the base of Pikes Peak!
The evening will include:
- a fantastic silent auction
- a scrumptious meal masterfully prepared by the Antlers' house chefs
- dinner will be followed by our “Rescue Runway” show where you will see some of our pets strut their stuff and hear about their greatest wishes!
- hear ​Darlene Kobobel from the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center share her experience of finding her first wolf friend after moving to Teller County and the desperate situation that lost and abandoned pets faced in this area before there was a TCRAS.
We've come a long way, baby! Today, every dog and cat who enters our doors receives the specialized care they need to be ready for their new “leash” on life. They stay with us until they find their new forever family, however long it might take. Our guests are part of our family until they find one of their own.
At this special event, you will find out about our new programs, our plans for the future and how YOU can be a part of making more Wags and Wishes come true!
