Description:
The Altru Family YMCA has planned a three day Fitness Center Grand Re-opening to showcase recent improvements in the fitness areas.
Community residents are invited to stop in and take a tour or utilize the facility by attending an exercise class, exercising in the fitness center, or using the swimming pool, gyms, walking track, or racquetball courts.
The fitness areas were recently re-designed to accommodate our expansion of program offerings. Along with our extensive group fitness classes, we are now able to offer: a dedicated plate loaded strength area; more space for additional strength training and stretching; room for new strength and cardio equipment; and enhanced program space for special programs such as Rock Steady Boxing, general boxing and self defense classes. We have recently added several new pieces of wheelchair accessible equipment to the main level along with several other items, with new improvements being made daily, making the fitness areas accessible to people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
