Details:
How do animals survive the freezing cold weather in the winter? Head to Prairie Rose State Park at 2 pm to learn about how they do survive in the winter. Participants will be making their own "critters" and see if they can help them to survive outside. Participants will do this by putting some Jell-O into film canisters and finding a good place for them outside.
Participants will also construct "burrows" for a second animal and see if this helps them survive in the cold weather.
