Description:
School’s Out Camps are offered at Explora on Albuquerque Public Schools’ holidays. These full-day camps are multi-age, collaborative experiences for children currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Camps will be available in conjunction with Spring Conferences, Thursday – March 7 and Friday, March 8.
Thursday’s Camp is Launch a Green Scene - Innovate for the future! Develop your vision of a community that interacts differently with the world around it. Explore how to use strategies of sustainability that reduce the impacts we have on the earth and our homes.
Friday’s Camp is Fort Building - Calling all creators, innovators, thinkers, and problem-solvers! Blankets, marshmallows, and cardboard are some of the materials we will use to explore the principles of engineering and construction.
