Where do you come from, where do you go, where do you come from CARBON-eyed Joe?
 
Can something be made from nothing? Can something really just disappear into thin air? We will talk about corn as a way to understand the carbon cycle. And we'll eat popcorn!

Eva Stricker is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico Biology Department. She works in deserts and other drylands to understand how plants and microbes in the soil get fertilizer from the environment.

Funding assistance for Explora Teen Science Cafés, (aka. Café Scientifique), is provided by the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund of the City of Albuquerque.
