Missy Waldman grew up in Olivette, graduated from Horton Watkins High School and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Law and Communications.  Her career has been focused in social work and health care.  Missy works at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri assisting families with state and federal health programs including compliance with the regulations of Medicaid and Medicare.

Missy’s passion for improving the city as a trustee on street improvements and housing led to accepting the appointment to a vacated seat on the Olivette City Council in 2000.  Missy has served 19th year as an Olivette elected official and is serving as the Mayor for a fourth term.

Missy's two biggest accomplishments as an elected official are getting the community to approve a 13.5-million-dollar bond issue that paid for the construction of Olivette’s new City Center and in addition, after 55 years of being a vision, the City Council recently approved a planned use development district at the corner of Olive and I-170 that will bring businesses and amenities to this part of the region.

Looking at the past and working towards the future has always been Missy’s mindset for Olivette -  a place people come to vs. drive through.  For the past year Olivette has worked very hard to implement the Strategic plan.  Olivette is going to look different in the next two years, and Missy is very excited for the citizens, employees and visitors coming to Olivette.

First elected in April 2012, Barry L. Glantz, A.I.A. was raised and resides in Creve Coeur, where he lives with his wife Sheri. He has three grown children – Evan, Corey and Marissa. Previously, Mayor Glantz was elected to four terms on the Creve Coeur City Council from 1992-2000, serving as council president in 1996-1997. He was also appointed to three terms on the Creve Coeur Planning & Zoning Commission from 2002-2011. In addition to his service with the City of Creve Coeur, Mayor Glantz is also the immediate past-President of the Municipal League of Metro St. Louis and a member of the East West Gateway Council of Governments.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of architecture degree, Mayor Glantz is a member of the National Association of Home Builders Board of Directors and has also served two terms as Vice President of the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri. In addition to his service with the City of Creve Coeur, Mayor Glantz is also the immediate past-President of the Municipal League of Metro St. Louis and a current member of the St. Louis County Building Commission, Advisory Board at Enterprise Bank, and the East West Gateway Council of Governments.
