The American Red Cross and Ellenville Regional Hospital will join together for a community blood drive on Monday March 25, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Ellenville Regional Hospital at 10 Healthy Way. The Red Cross blood drive will take place in a traveling donor center outside of the hospital in their parking lot.
Blood is an essential component for patient care in area hospitals, and the only source of blood is a healthy volunteer blood donor, like you.
Local blood donors are needed all year round to ensure the blood supply stays strong. Approximately every two seconds a patient in the United States needs blood. That’s why your blood donation through the Red Cross is so important. Your blood donation can help save the life of a real person in our community. It truly is the blood on the shelves today that helps save lives tomorrow.
