AHCC Welcomes " RAIN TUNNEL CAR WASH" Ribbon Cutting & Networking
Join the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and the AHCC Ambassador’s Committee, in welcoming “Rain Tunnel” Car Wash for their Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration for their beautiful Westside Albuquerque location – 5401 Sevilla NW Albuquerque NM 87120 (Corner or Coors and Sevilla) on Friday March 15th from 11am – 12pm the actual ribbon cutting at approx. 11:30am.
About Rain Tunnel
Originally founded by Bill and Rossanna Hays in 1972 at the 5101 Lomas Ave. NE location in Albuquerque, NM, Rain Tunnel Car wash acquired its second location in 1989. Current proud local owners in their fourteenth year, the Buckner’s, Buck and Faye, acquired the two washes from Bill and Rosanna Hays in November 2005, made improvements and rebranded the washes as “Rain Tunnel Car Spa.”
Buck is a retired, licensed Petroleum/Mechanical Engineer, who served the petroleum and energy industry for 28 years. Both Mr. & Mrs. Buckner have post graduate degrees in Business. Mrs. Buckner, soon to retire, has provided consultation to Car Spa and has taught Language Arts in the Albuquerque Public School District for the past fourteen years (Madison Middle School). They have two adult children that both live and work in Albuquerque. Both their kids worked for the washes during the summers and sometimes part time during their high school and college years.
