CONTINUING EDUCATION: 1.5 Continuing Education Credits will be awarded to Social Workers, Counselors and Addiction Counselors at the completion of the lecture. All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance at the conclusion of the lecture to submit to their credentialing board.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: At the conclusion of this educational offering, participants will be able to:
- Understand the basic science behind Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
- Understand what the course of treatment looks like for the patient
- Identify 3 criteria that makes a patient an appropriate candidate for TMS treatment
- Understand how TMS augments medication and verbal therapies
