Description:
June 30th, 2019, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - A Day With the Tabors: Matchless Mine Cookout, Tabor Home Tours, and the 101st Army Band at the Tabor Opera House. A fundraising kick-off event toward the restoration and preservation of the Matchless Mine's hoist house. Activities at the Matchless Mine include a cookout, author readings by best selling Leadville historical fiction authors Diane Brotemarkle, Ann Parker, & Donna Baer Stein, music by Birds on a Wire, Mountain Men presentation, Dave Ten Eyck and his mules, gold panning and more. The Tabor Home will be open for tours 10 am to 4:00 pm and there will be a free concert by the 101st Army Band at the Tabor Opera House at 2:00 pm followed by author readings by best selling Leadville historical fiction authors Diane Brotemarkle, Ann Parker, & Donna Baer Stein.
