Lancaster County Public Schools Learning Expo
Description:
The Expo will showcase project based learning. Our students, staff and teachers have partnered with William and Mary and have been delving into deeper learning activities. At this showcase, the students will be presenting their final projects. Some of the projects involved local businesses. Our second graders used patterning and other skills to design jewelry. Justin from Burkes Fine Jewelers visited the classrooms and added his expertise. Our third graders are designing a community business/building/park and collaborated with Randall Kipp of Randall Kipp Architecture and the Kilmarnock Town Centre Park.
The community is invited and encouraged to stop in and see some of the great work.
