new event type

Description:

Just in time for spring cleaning, the Francis Howell School District is offering a community "Shred-It Day." FHSD residents are invited to bring personal and confidential paper documents (such as old tax documents, bank records, and credit card statements) to be securely shredded and recycled. The event will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM* at the Burbes Service Center, located at 4606 Central School Road in St. Charles.

To participate in this free event, place documents in up to three cardboard bankers-sized boxes and drop them off at the Shred-It truck. Please make sure the boxes are not too heavy to lift or over-filled. All of the material will be shredded including the boxes if they are not wanted back.

This event is for paper documents only, electronics and other miscellaneous items will not be accepted. Please do not bring computer discs or hanging file rods. If you can tear it, then you can shred it with this complimentary service. It is okay for documents to have staples.

Protect your identity, the environment, and begin your spring cleaning all by stopping by our onsite Shred-It Day event.

*Length of event is limited to the capacity of one Shred-It mobile shredding truck.
