Are you ready to get in touch with your Wild-West self and celebrate Horsetown USA’s National Day of the American Cowboy? Join us on Saturday, July 27, at the Ingalls Event Center from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for this action-packed, fun-filled, family event that honors America’s cowboy and Western heritage!

The Grand Opening Celebration will start at 9 a.m. in Moreno Arena with the presentation of flags on horseback and a special presentation to an Honorary Cowboy. You’ll want to stick around to watch an Old West Bandit Shootout re-enactment at high noon, followed by the Southern California Youth Bull Riders Mutton Bustin' and Rodeo at 12:30 p.m.!

Additional attractions and festivities will include:
• Chuckwagon Races and Hula Hoop Races
• Cow Chip Tossing Competition
• Kid’s Events: Pee Wee Barrels, Wagon Races, Boot Scramble, Stick Horse Races
• Kid’s Corral: Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Panning for “Gold” and Crafts
• Performance by the Mane Attraction Equestrian Drill Team
• Craft and Food Vendors

Equestrian participation events will take place in Clark Arena from 9:30 a.m.-1p.m. and will include Ribbon Race ($10 entrance fee), as well as Obstacle Course, Poles 1 and Speed Barrels ($5 entrance fee each). Barrels will take place at approximately 1 p.m. The fastest time for Obstacle Course, Barrels and Pee Wee Barrels earns a buckle and winners of Ribbon Race, Poles One and Speed Barrels will receive Boot Barn gift certificates! You won't want to miss the competition!

Admission is free and parking is $5 per vehicle. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase all day long!
