Cancelled - Independence Day Celebration

This year’s annual Independence Day celebration at Youngker High School is scheduled for July 4 at 8:45 p.m. and will feature only a 20-minute fireworks display. To comply with CDC guidelines of large gatherings of people and physical distancing recommendations, there will be no live entertainment, food and beverage sales, or family activities this year.

Residents can enjoy the fireworks from inside their vehicles at Youngker High or within their designated parking spot. All food and drinks must also be contained within your vehicle or parking spot. Arizona State law does not permit the consumption of alcohol in vehicles of public spaces.

Parking
Limited parking will open at 7:30 p.m. and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Some streets surrounding Youngker High will be closed for your safety. Please remember to follow all CDC guideline to protect you and your family against COVID-19.
