Description:
The Woodland Park Wind Symphony presents “Sounds of Christmas.”
Sunday, December 8, 2019
6pm – “Meet the Musicians” reception and cash bar
7pm – Concert
Guest Artists – Mountain Eire Irish Dancers
Start your Christmas season with the powerful and beautiful sounds of Christmas performed by the 60-member Woodland Park Wind Symphony.  Meet the musicians, dancers and friends during the reception from 6-7pm, purchase a glass of wine and enjoy appetizers provided by the members.
At 7pm, put your worries away, relax and listen to the beautiful sounds of Christmas.
A special performance will be the Mountain Eire Irish Dancers on stage as the Woodland Park Wind Symphony performs “Celtic Carol.”
With a percussion equipment purchase program successfully completed, the Woodland Park Wind Symphony will honor the members and donors as they perform on the percussion equipment they purchased.  Many of the donors are not percussionists and they will have great fun playing their drum, timpani, gong, chimes, cymbals, triangles and wind chimes!  Plaques for the large percussion equipment are provided by Fred Clifford, Cedar Mountain Metal Craft.
There are no tickets to purchase for this special community event.  Donations are welcome to help the Woodland Park Wind Symphony continue to operate and grow.  Sponsorships are also available.  For additional information and to see what an extraordinary organization it is, please visit www.woodlandparkwindsymphony.com.  Director Craig Harms can be reached via the website and also by phone at 719-687-2210.
