This training is geared for those who want to be confident they are prepared when the next grant with a tight deadline comes around. So before you put pen to paper, come to this training to learn the importance of aligning your grant writing efforts with your organizational mission and fundraising strategy. You will understand how to navigate the world of grant procurement, how to conduct successful grant prospecting, and how to match your proposals to grant guidelines.
The session engages participants in interactive group exercises, lecture, discussions, and tips and techniques so that all participants will leave the class understanding how to research, plan for and develop their specific project to best appeal to grants funders.

Jill VonOsten, MBA, is president of ORG Agents, LLC. - a firm that provides training, organizational development and project management services to nonprofits. Jill is a seasoned trainer and administrator with over 25 years of experience. She has developed curriculum and customized trainings on a variety of topics, including nonprofit management, volunteer coordination, project management, board development, leadership, ethics, strategic planning, evaluation and grant writing.
Jill served on the Advisory Committee for the New Mexico Nonprofit Principles & Practices Guide. Her wide breadth of nonprofit experience includes serving in the positions of Executive Director, Board Member (including terms as Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary), Associate Director, Program Coordinator and Project Manager. A long time grant writer and grant writing trainer, Jill has also developed Request For Proposals, and served on grant reading and selection committees.
