PURPOSE:
Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is hosting a multi-year national tour, AFA Educating America Tour, which features Concepts In Care, and Alzheimer’s educational conference, and also includes a display of the AFA Quilt To Remember and Memory screenings for attendees.
EVENT HISTORY AND PROFILE:
AFA Educating America Tour, now in its fourth year, features free educational conferences that enable participants to learn about topics such as caregiving strategies and support, communication and safety tips and research and public policy. Free memory screenings will be provided at each conference, along with a display of AFA Quilt to Remember, which pays tribute to all those who have been affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

Pre-function: Registration Tables – 1 tables required in the Pre-Function Area outside the Main Conference room.
Function Space: (2 Spaces required)
Main Conference: One (1) main event space to accommodate up to 120 attendees with more room to grow. Main event space should include handicap accessible entrance and Exhibit tables. NationalMemory Screenings:a healthcare professional a private/confidential 10 minute sessions administers NMS, which test memory and other thinking skills. One (1) small meeting room close to main event space for memory screening. Two (2) table and chairs
