Hosts its 17th Annual Gourmet Gents Culinary Extravaganza
Winter Haven, Florida, February 13, 2020, - The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., (NCBW) Polk County Chapter, Inc. celebrates 22 years of advocacy on behalf of Black women and girls to promote leadership and gender equity and will host its 17th annual Gourmet Gents Culinary Extravaganza fundraiser on Saturday, February 29. 2020.
This elegant “Black Tie” Spectacular event showcases the scrumptious culinary skills of more than 50 distinguished gentlemen, representing diverse professions from within Polk and surrounding counties, who boast that they are indeed Gourmet Gents. These civic and business leaders volunteer their time and resources to our mission of providing scholarships and professional development opportunities to our community. Donned in chef aprons and hats, the Gourmet Gents will titillate the palates of guests with mouth-watering culinary masterpieces, in every imaginable food category!
Additionally, we seek financial support from corporate and private sponsors, and welcome donations of items for our silent auction. Guests will experience an elegant evening, complete with red-carpet entry, silent auction, live musical entertainment featuring: Kuumba Dancers and Drummers of Tampa, FL, D.J. King, cash bar, photo booth, and delectable dishes. This adult event will take place:
