Truman State University’s Museum Studies students are delighted to announce their exhibit Beneath White Tents. Beneath White Tents will be in the Charlyn Gallery, located in the Truman State University Art Gallery, and is free and open to the public. The exhibit consists primarily of objects held by Truman State University’s Special Collections and Museums and tells the story of the traveling circus in its heyday, as well as the lingering impact it has on our collective memory.
Opening reception on March 17 at 5 pm. Regular gallery hours will be observed.
The exhibit will open on March 17, 2020, with an opening reception at 5 pm, and will run until April 17. Free on-street parking is available during regular business hours on S. Florence Street and S. Mulanix Street. After hours and on Saturdays, free parking is available in the university parking lots off E. Normal Street and S. Davis Street.

Friday 8:30 a. m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday Noon – 4:30 p.m.
