We are seeking applications for the board of directors. The board of directors includes business leaders, community members, parents, and staff. This is a volunteer position.

The 916 Education Foundation is a charitable organization that enhances teaching and learning through economic support to the students, staff, programs, and member districts of Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District. Through several events throughout the year, board members help achieve this mission by turning fundraising dollars into program grants and student scholarships that support the faculty and students of Northeast Metro 916.

We are seeking candidates that share a passion for our mission, visionary thinking and leadership skills with any of the following areas of experience and expertise: advocacy, fundraising, legal, marketing, strategic planning, and technology.

Applications are currently being sought for four (4) positions with a three-year term beginning on September 6, 2018. Directors are expected to attend 5-6 board meetings throughout the school year, serve on at least one fundraising committee and one-two standing committee, and actively participate in Foundation activities such as fundraising events and represent the Foundation at special events.
