Event Name:
Steel Days 2020 Neighborhood Parade

Description:
The Steel Days Committee has made every effort to ensure the safety of all attendees and volunteers and make this a contagion-free event, and we will strictly adhere to all county and state guidelines and mandates. However, you acknowledge that we cannot guarantee all risks of infection are eliminated.

By attending any Steel Days event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. You and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold the Steel Days Committee, American Fork City, the American Fork Chamber of Commerce, volunteers, sponsors, businesses, organizations, employees, or their affiliates liable for any illness or injury.

By registering, you agree that neither you nor anyone who will be present at the event have any illness symptoms or are in a high-risk category for COVID-19. While at the event, you agree to follow all the COVID-19 safety guidelines and any additional instructions from the Steel Days Committee and volunteers and American Fork City and staff and agree to put forth your best efforts to ensure the safety of all members of your party.

The Steel Days Neighborhood Parade will be on Saturday, July 11 at 9:00 a.m and will be a 22 mile route through American Fork. This year, because of the construction on Main Street and the need to provide more space for people to social distance while viewing the parade, we are changing the route. The parade will be coming to the people! It will start at American Fork Junior High, go throughout the neighborhoods in the city, and then end at Rotary Park. Please see the map for route details.

It is our goal to make the parade as entertaining and enjoyable as possible. In order to do so, we need to make safety our highest priority. Please stay out of the road and avoid congregating in groups.

?As the parade concludes, please help us take pride in our community and keep it clean by collecting any trash that is around you or that you see and depositing it into trash receptacles. Please remember that Steel Days and the Grand Parade are meant to bring the community together to celebrate our great city. Let’s have fun and be respectful to everyone around us, including spectators, parade entries, and volunteers.
