Now is the time to come together for real change. Help us provide critical basic food needs so kids, individuals and seniors can experience a better quality of life!
Rio Grande Food Project has been feeding individuals, kids and seniors for 31 years in the Albuquerque area. And now with COVID-19, there is an increase in demand for food due to school closings, furloughs and lay offs, businesses shuttering and seniors unable to safely access food.
JOIN US for our 5th Annual Hike to End Hunger over the weekend of October 23-25 or sooner - YOU choose the time and place to hike this year!

Our Hike to End Hunger may be spread far and wide due to the current COVID-19 crisis, but we will continue to build a positive force of hunger action advocates and come together virtually, however and wherever we can, to build a world where everyone has enough quality food to live a healthy life.
Hike, walk, roll, stroll, bike… solo or with your dog(s), family, and/or closest friends (in your cool 2020 Hike to End Hunger T-shirts if you so choose), take photos (you can tag us with #hiketoendhungerabq) and most importantly reduce and prevent food insecurity in Albuquerque by supporting Rio Grande Food Project's work because TOO MANY kids, adults and seniors are missing meals every month, every week...some even going DAYS without eating anything at all.

1 - Register for a FREE TICKET to our event and be an advocate to end hunger! Be in the know about event updates, see photos of our supporters across the globe and learn facts about food insecurity issues.
2 - BUY A 2020 HIKE TEE to show you CARE that people are experiencing hunger and have taken action to help. Plus they are super cool! We'll let you know when they arrive!
3 - Help and support the AHCC Ambassador Committee reach our goal to help feed so many in need! RGFP can feed an individual for an entire week for only $10.45, so even a small donation makes a BIG difference in someone's life!
