An effective website continues to be a critical marketing tool that helps potential customers find you, and contributes in a big way to your unique selling proposition. Is your small business positioned to take advantage of the recent shift in shopping toward online sales?  Many industries have experienced online sales growth, with 53% of buyers saying that the pandemic has changed the way they will shop going forward.  An effective website continues to be a critical marketing tool that helps potential customers find you, and contributes in a big way to your unique selling proposition.  For business owners who have been using social media exclusively, you’ll gain more visibility without adding a lot of time and expense.  A well-planned and well-executed website can help set you apart from your competition.

We strongly encourage you to attend Part 1 and Part 2 of this workshop series.  In Part 1 of this workshop series (held June 23), the focus is on planning your website, a key component in the overall success of your website. In Part 2 of this workshop series, presenter Pete Mikelson will show you how to implement your website plan using Wix, a popular template service that is available for free to build and maintain.  Professional features like your own domain name or ecommerce (such as an online store) are available as an upgrade for a fee.

To gain full access to the Wix editor when building your site, you’ll need to use a device with a keyboard (e.g., laptop) rather than a device with a touchscreen.  You’ll end up with a multi-page website that is mobile friendly and beautiful.  You will be amazed!

Paid registrants will receive a recording of the event, and can ask questions and/or work individually with the presenter. Cost: $14.99 Registration required.
