Description:
Rancho Cordova Rotary in collaboration with Dr David Shatz, UCDMC; American College of Surgeons, Rancho Cordova Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security are sponsoring a training course of how to "save a life by simply stopping the bleeding". The statistics are overwhelming because anyone can do it.
Stop the Bleed is a grassroots national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed encourages bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
