Description:
Found objects can add special interest that makes your mixed media art rise above the ordinary. This "artistic play" will challenge you to think outside the box, learn new techniques and develop your personal artistic voice. You’ll choose from items such as buttons, old jewelry, thin wire and small metal objects, small sticks, small stones, wine foil and many other unexpected materials. These will be incorporated in a collage composition following the principles of line, value, scale, and balance. There will also be a discussion on matching appropriate adhesives to particular materials.
