About Us

For the past seven years, Dr. Nick “Nico” Dayan has been the Vice-President and Chief Administrative Officer for TriCore Reference Laboratories.
 
Nico has over 30 years’ experience in the Executive Healthcare Management field. He holds PhD’s in Gerontology and Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska, as well as a Master of Arts Degree (MA) in Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Human Sciences. He is currently a member of the 2020 class for Leadership New Mexico.
 
Nico was recently recognized by Albuquerque Business First as one of the Top “C” suite level executives in Albuquerque and was also named as “One of 3 New Mexicans to Know”.  He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement.  Previously, he served as New Mexico Board Chair for March of Dimes/March for Babies, and a member of the Rio Grande Rotary Club.
 
Nico is originally from Milan, New Mexico where he is a 4^th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Nico, who is also a proud Air Force Veteran, has two sons Alex, who works as a medical laboratory scientist in Omaha Nebraska, and Eric, a paramedic and firefighter in Lincoln Nebraska. Eric and his lovely wife Kelsey, who is an elementary school teacher working on her Master’s Degree, recently gave Nico his first granddaughter, Charlotte Ann.
