About Tin Cup Ice Cream & Desserts

Matthew grew up with Crested Butte as a second home and his family's favorite place on earth. After changing careers in 2018, Matthew, Lydia, and Genevieve packed up and moved to Crested Butte from Oklahoma for a fresh start and a new adventure.

In 2019 we opened Tin Cup Pasty Co., a British mining inspired restaurant on Elk Avenue. With the pandemic and labor and housing crises only getting harder, we transitioned first to a sandwich, soup and salad spot and then to an ice cream and dessert shop, which is really where are hearts and minds want to be. Lydia is a baker and in addition to ice cream, she makes custom cakes, cookies, cupcakes and so much more.?
