About Family Health Source (Main Campus)

Family Health Source began as Pierson Medical Center, the first federally recognized community health center in Volusia County, founded by dedicated community leaders focused on improving local healthcare access. Over time, it has grown into a network of comprehensive community health centers now known as Family Health Source operating locations in DeLand, Pierson, Deltona, and Daytona. Guided by Northeast Florida Health Services, Inc., our organization is committed to serving patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, with a strong foundation in primary care.

Our mission is to deliver quality, accessible healthcare to every member of our community regardless of income, insurance status, or background. Through education, support, and compassionate services, Family Health Source empowers individuals and families to achieve lasting wellness. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay, reflecting our deep-rooted commitment to equity, dignity, and whole-person care.
