About Us
The Spring shows Mother Nature at her best, with warm days cool evenings and spectacular skies here in Plumas County
Spring in Plumas County is the beginning of new life, new colors in the fields and in the mountains with wildflowers such as: Wild Columbine, Lupines, California Poppies, Mountain Dogwood, Indian Paintbrush, Wild Sweetpeas, Manzanita, Mule Ear and the smell of Sage blooming.
You will notice the deep red of the new growth in the Willows along the rivers, the yellow of the flowers and the soft grey of the Pussy Willows.
The new growth in the trees bring light greens of different shades to the surroundings.
This is the time for new baby animals: fawns, bear cubs, birds, take your camera and be ready to take a great picture.
The melting of the snow creates beautiful waterfalls in many parts of Plumas County, check out Frazier Falls in the Lakes Basin Area.
