The story behind Grandma Sandino's Sicilian Sauce is as rich and flavorful as the sauce itself. In 1986, the journey began when I experienced the best Italian restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland, and fell in love with their "House" blue cheese vinaigrette. Determined to bring that extraordinary flavor home, I spent a Saturday perfecting the formula, which eventually became known as "Dave's Famous." After navigating the process, we introduced our sauce to the market in July of 2011. However, with the need for a name change, Grandma Sandino's Sicilian Sauce emerged, inspired by my beautiful wife, Mary Sandino, and our shared commitment to quality and family.
