DOVES Network's overarching goal is to reduce traumatic stress symptoms while overall improving the functioning and development of adolescents thats been exposed to the trauma impact of domestic and sexual violence.
We do this through:
Helping children understand and manage their emotions.
Building confidence, resiliency, infusing hope and teaching new coping skills while healing.
Uprooting the trauma effects of self-sabotaging and self-medicating attitudes and behaviors.
Improving communication and social skills through age-appropriate programs.
Promoting positive relationships and building healthy conflict resolution skills.
